Todd Bishop, PhD
Biography
Biography: Dr. Todd Bishop received his PhD in clinical psychology from Syracuse University. He completed his clinical internship at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. He also completed a CIH-funded dissertation at the Syracuse VA under the primary mentorship of Dr. Stephen Maisto. Dr. Bishop is currently the chief post-doctoral fellow at the VISN 2 Center of Excellence for Suicide Prevention, at the Canandaigua Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Research Interests: Dr. Bishop's research is conducted with a particular emphasis on how sleep disturbance and suicidal behavior may be addressed within the primary care setting and during periods of transition in care, with an eye to increasing utilization of existing interventions and developing novel, brief interventions when indicated..
