Biography
Biography: Mr. Goldstein is a Research Coordinator at the Syracuse CIH. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University where he graduated in 2009 Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. Honors degree in psychology. After assuming various roles as a direct care professional in the field of mental health for two years post-graduation, Wade attended SUNY Buffalo in 2011 to pursue his master’s degree in clinical psychology. His graduate studies focused on psychopathology and behavioral statistics. Wade worked with Dr. Rebecca Houston at the Research Institute on Addictions where he was involved in projects examining the psychophysiological aspects of impulsivity and substance abuse. He moved to Syracuse in 2015 to join CIH after working in intensive case management in Western New York. Wade currently works on a CIH funded project examining the efficacy of an internet-based therapy for Veterans experiencing PTSD and hazardous alcohol/substance use. Wade plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in quantitative psychology with a focus on intervention based research. His research interests include substance abuse, comorbidity of externalizing and internalizing forms of psychopathology, advanced statistical modeling, Bayesian statistics, and neuropsychology.

Wade attended numerous conferences to present his graduate work while at UB and looks forward to publishing manuscripts from his time there as well as opportunities to collaborate on manuscripts at CIH.
