Biography
Biography: Michael Owings is a research assistant at the Center for Integrated Healthcare. He is a disabled Veteran of the US Army and served as an Explosives Expert. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a focus on Addiction Studies from Boise State University in 2012. Michael began his career with the VA at the Lexington, KY Medical Center in 2012 and became the Administrative Officer on Duty before moving to NY in November of 2014 to join the CIH team. He is interested in research projects that exmaine methods for improved quality, care, and treatment for Veterans. Michael plans to pursue a Masters of Public Health with a concentrated focus on Hospital Administration, and intends to use any further education to continue his career serving Veterans by working for the VA.
