Biography: Ms. Lochner serves as the VISN 2 Center for Excellence for Suicide Prevention’s Administrative Officer.  In addition Ms. Lochner serves as the Canandaigua VA Medical Center’s Administrative Officer for Research. She completed the Executive Healthcare Leadership Program from the William E. Simon School of Business Administration, University of Rochester. Ms. Lochner has over 20 years of administrative and management experience in the research, academic, education and clinical environment.  Additionally she has served in numerous leadership roles in both administrative and research at the University of Rochester. Ms. Lochner resides in Avon, NY. 

Center Responsibilities:

Ms. Lochner is responsible for advising and/or coordination of administrative activities and policies, research administration activities, programs and operations of the Center.  She implements actions to ensure all administrative requirements are met.  She manages all the administrative functions of the Center that include: budget and fiscal management, space, supply and equipment management, contracting, human resource management, research administration, strategic planning and program evaluation. She is a member of the leadership team along with the Center’s Director, Associate Director, Director for Research, Director for Advanced Fellowship Program & Graduate Training, and Director for Data Analytics & Informatics. Lastly, she develops and implements administrative policies and procedures governing activities for the Center.
