Application Procedures:

The VISN 19 MIRECC DENVER VA Advanced Fellowship Program in Mental Illness Research and Treatment is an APPIC (Association of Postdoctoral and Psychology Internship Centers ) accredited program, and participates in the Uniform Notification Date, with option for reciprocal offer (UNDr). NOTE: The APPIC application procedure applies only to the Denver site and not the Salt Lake City site.

Association of Psychology Post-Doctoral and Internship Centers 

Applications are currently being accepted. Applications for 1 August 2012 (a flexible date) will be due January 5, 2012.

Candidates for the VISN 19 MIRECC VA Advanced Fellowship Program in Mental Illness Research and Treatment in Psychology (Denver site) are required to submit the following:

  1. A letter of interest that identifies career goals, expectations, and the goodness of fit with the mission of the VISN 19 MIRECC
  2. A current curriculum vitae
  3. Letters of completion from academic and internship/residency programs
  4. Three letters of recommendation
  5. Sample de-identified neuro/psychological evaluation report and a summary regarding number and types of neuro/psychological tests administered and reports written. (Some background in neuropsychological assessment is preferred.)
