Biography
Biography: Brielle currently works as a CIH research assistant under the direction of Dr. Jennifer Funderburk. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Nazareth College in 2008. Brielle then worked for the CIH from 2008-2011, contributing to several research studies examining various health behaviors in veteran populations, particularly alcohol use and mood. Following her experience at the CIH, Brielle went on to complete a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. John Fisher College in 2012. She worked as a mental health counselor at a local community mental health clinic from 2013-2015, gaining valuable clinical experience with a variety of individuals and mental health problems. Finally, Brielle returned to the CIH to pursue her continuing interests in finding more effective, efficient, and easily-deliverable interventions for our veterans' most common mental health complaints.
