Native American Veteran Suicide Prevention Products
Native American Veteran Suicide Prevention
The suicide rate for Native American Veterans who receive care from the VA went up by 7.8% from 2021-2022 (Office of Suicide Prevention, 2025). Native Americans serve in the military at higher rates than any other race group. These Veterans face unique challenges that may increase their risk for suicide. Because of this, it’s important to provide support and suicide prevention efforts that honor their culture, promote healing, and strengthen communities. Below you’ll find resources to help communities and health care providers who work with Native American Veterans in suicide prevention.
