The Suicide Risk Management Consultation Program (SRM) is a free, convenient, and high-quality resource for VA and community providers treating Veterans at risk of suicide.
Through the program, providers have access to a supportive, reliable resource to turn to when faced with unique and complex scenarios related to Veteran suicide prevention.
Anchored in up-to-date research, best practices, and clinical experience, SRM experts work with providers with a range of knowledge about suicide risk management. Through consultation, providers are given safe space to share and address concerns, ask questions, and receive validation.
SRM experts are available to discuss clinical decisions through the lens of therapeutic risk management. They also provide support to providers after they have lost a patient to suicide.
