Biography: Arthur Ryan completed his clinical internship at the Atlanta VA and is a licensed psychologist in Maryland and DC. Prior to joining the Rocky Mountain MIRECC, he was an Advanced Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the VISN 5 MIRECC. Arthur is interested in the contributions of the HPA axis, immune system, and other biological systems to the shared etiopathology of psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and suicidal behavior. He is also interested in suicide in psychotic illness, the use of technology in psychological treatment and research, statistical methods, and construct validity in psychiatric research.
