Amy Cohen, PhD
Amy N. Cohen, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist; Co-Director of the Health Services Unit within the Veterans Administration Desert Pacific Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center; Core Investigator at the Veterans Administration Center for the Study of Healthcare Innovation, Implementation & Policy; and an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Science at UCLA. Dr. Cohen's research focuses on healthcare quality improvement for individuals with serious mental illness, including both physical and psychiatric health. Dr. Cohen is an expert in the use and analysis of mixed methods in the evaluation and improvement of healthcare quality. Dr. Cohen has considerable expertise in implementation science, development and implementation of healthcare informatics to support quality improvement, systems redesign, training and implementation of peer specialists, cost evaluation and research methodology.
