Choose a day and time, within the next month, to stop using tobacco.

Think about choosing a special day, like a birthday, anniversary, or New Year's Day.

It's important to pick a date that won't be stressful for you - some Veterans find it helpful to quit on a weekend or day off from work.

Write down your Quit Date, mark it on the calendar, and tell your family and friends!
