Addressing Mental Health Comorbidities: Integrated CBT to Improve Functioning in Veterans with Co-Occurring Anxiety and Substance Use Dr. Anthony (Tony) Ecker. Treating anxiety disorders or PTSD when they co-occur with alcohol use disorders can involve Veterans completing multiple types of therapy, with multiple providers, in different clinics. Transdiagnostic cognitive behavior therapy can be used to effectively treat these multiple conditions at the same time.

Location

The SC MIRECC encompasses Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and part of Texas. We have anchor sites in Houston, Little Rock, New Orleans, and Oklahoma City.
