VISN 2 Center for Integrated Healthcare (CIH)
The VA Center for Integrated Healthcare Brief Evidence-Informed Interventions Portal
The VA Center for Integrated Healthcare (CIH) is pleased to announce a new platform to access evidence-informed interventions for use within PCMHI.
On the new Brief Evidence-Informed Interventions Portal you can:
- Download evidence-informed manuals designed for PCMHI use, such as Prolonged Exposure – Primary Care and Problem-Solving Training
- Review concise summaries of the literature describing the level of evidence for each of the interventions available through the portal,
- Apply the evidence to understand which Veterans are most likely to benefit from which interventions, and use this information to guide shared decision-making conversations to improve care.
- Unfortunately, these protocols are not available to those outside of the VA system and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Please note that we will continue to enhance the portal and we are working to expand functionality, improve overall user experience, and update with new interventions as new evidence emerges. We will make sure to send updates to the list serve anytime we make major modification. Check back often for minor updates and inclusion of new protocols.
