Title: Supporting Telehealth for Rural Disabled Veterans

About: This project seeks to promote equitable access to high quality virtual care for Veterans with Spinal Cord Injuries and Disorders (SCI/D) by educating rural MH professionals about the needs of rural Veterans with SCI/D. It will generate insights and best practices on how to support these Veterans when using virtual care modalities and disseminate our knowledge and skills to rural communities so they can promote optimal virtual care experiences for rural Veterans with disabilities. The project is funded through the VHA Office of Rural Health, Veterans Rural Health Resource Center in Salt Lake City.

Title: VA Training to Recognize Early Alzheimer’s and Treat (TREAT) Cognitive Decline: Implementation and Evaluation

About: The VA TREAT Cognitive Decline proposal will adapt, implement, and evaluate an intervention to increase the use of dementia warning signs in primary care clinics and improve the screening rates of dementia-related disorders and referrals to dementia care pathways (i.e., locally-developed dementia management guidelines).
