About the SC MIRECC Education Core

The SC MIRECC Education Core helps VA and community mental health providers promote mental illness recovery among rural Veterans and other Veterans facing barriers to care. We provide training and develop educational products on a variety of mental health topics for care providers, advocates, and Veterans and their families. Our clinical education products are free to the public and VHA clinical providers can earn 1 free of CEU per month by joining our CBOC Mental Health Rounds webinars.

Clinical Educator Grant Program

The Clinical Educator Grants Program helps VA clinicians and educators in VISNs 16 and 17 develop innovative tools that target rural, underserved, or hard-to-reach Veterans and their families or improve the health care delivery system. Applications must support the SC MIRECC mission to promote equity in engagement, access, and quality of mental health care for Veterans facing barriers to care, especially rural Veterans. Visit the Clinical Educator Grants webpage to learn more about the program and download the application.
