While debt can seem overwhelming, it’s important to remember that there is help for Veterans seeking to reduce existing debt and lower bills. Explore the following legal, medical, and financial programs that can help you put your money towards other goals.



Legal Help
These services offer information and legal resources for Veterans who need help with their debt.

VA offers free legal service clinics at VA centers throughout the country. You can see a list of these legal service clinics on the VA website.

If you are looking for help with a civil legal problem, use the I Need Legal Help tool to find an LSC-funded legal aid organization near you.


Medical
Manage your medical debt and pay for medical care with these resources.

Find out how you can get help with medical bills through free or low-cost medical care, government health insurance programs, or a medical debt management plan at USA.gov.
