The VA National Mental Health Recovery & Wellness Webinar Series is sponsored in partnership by the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Services Section in the OMHSP, the VISN 5 Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC) and the Veterans Health Administration Employee Education System. The webinars are focused on presenting advancements in recovery-focused mental health care occurring in the VHA and community. The webinars occur at 1 PM ET the second Tuesday of each month. FINVET and Financial Well-Being in Veterans

 FINVET was launched last year by the VA Office of Suicide Prevention to address the crucial link between financial wellbeing, mental health, and lower suicide risk.  FINVET connects Veterans to vital resources that help them manage their finances more effectively, so that every Veteran can earn more, save more, and keep their money safe.  This presentation will explore how FINVET can aid Veterans and their supporters in accessing essential services such as job centers, housing assistance, financial counseling, and education benefits, thereby significantly enhancing financial stability and overall well-being.
