Denver

The mission of the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System Interprofessional Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Fellowship is to support professional development and foster leadership skills in early career professionals connected to the area of Recovery and Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Serious Mental Illness (SMI). The PSR Fellowship offers advanced training experiences in PSR and the treatment and support of persons living with SMI to Fellows from Social Work, Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry. A key element in our training program is individualizing training experiences to fit the professional development and career goals of each Fellow. Fellows work with supervisors and mentors across a dedicated and skilled PSR team of interprofessional faculty to support their unique professional goals and development. The primary clinical settings include the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center (PRRC) and Intensive Community Mental Health Recovery (ICMHR) programs at the VA Rocky Mountain Regional Medical Center with community-based programming in the Aurora/Denver areas. Additional elective training experiences are also available in Inpatient Psychiatry, Outpatient Mental Health, Rural Mental Health, Early Intervention for Psychosis, Couple and Family Services, and Specialty Mental Health Services to include Substance Use Disorder Clinic and PTSD services
