A brief psychosocial intervention for Veterans who are at risk for suicide and ineligible for or disengaged from VA care
Transit was a pilot project that provided Veterans at risk for suicide and not eligible or engaged in VA healthcare services with brief psychotherapy and intensive case management services to address any pressing acute mental health needs and support their connect to a VA or community care providers at-risk Veterans acute needs while concurrently supporting their transition to more comprehensive VA or community-based resources depending on their VA eligibility status. Data is being analyzed and will be submitted for publication.
