Suicide Risk & Prevention among Asian American & Pacific Islander Veterans - Veteran Engagement

Veteran Engagement

Five images of Asian American and Pacific Islander individuals. Left, portrait of an elderly woman looking out a window. Top right, young mother laying on a blanket outside looking at her infant child. Bottom left, man with glasses working on a computer. Bottom center, young woman in a wheelchair outdoors smiling. Bottom right, portrait of an older man outdoors with a neutral expression.

We are committed to ensuring that Asian American and Pacific Islander Veterans’ perspectives and experiences are integrated into our research. In support of this, we are developing two Veteran Engagement Groups: one for Asian American Veterans and another for Pacific Islander Veterans.

Veteran Engagement Group members will meet with our team regularly to share their perspectives regarding this project. We will use their feedback to ensure that our research methods and questions are relevant to Asian American and Pacific Islander Veterans’ experiences, needs and preferences.
