Home-Based Measurement of Circadian Timing in Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury and Insomnia

Study Participation

What does study participation entail?

This study consists of four parts over approximately two weeks:

  1. An in-person visit (~2-4 hours) that will include an interview and questionnaires. Veterans will learn how to use the circadian measurement tools at this time.
  2. One week of completing sleep diaries (~5 minutes a day) at home and wearing a wrist sensor that measures activity and light exposure.
  3. One evening of collecting saliva samples at home once per hour for 6 hours. Veterans will collect their own samples, freeze them, and then ship them to a laboratory for testing.
  4. A brief 15-30-minute interview after completing the study on your experiences.

Compensation will be provided.
