These materials are products of the ACCESS research study. The study examined the effectiveness of a psychosocial intervention to address physical and emotional issues faced by chronically ill patients.

  • Six active treatment sessions.
  • Sessions 3-6 is flexible, allowing the flexibility to spend more than one session on focused skills.
  • Follow-up booster telephone sessions are used to help solidify changes over time.
  • Length of the active treatment and boosters is 16 weeks.
